  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add your sausage to the skillet and cook thoroughly. Break the sausage up into crumbles while it cooks. Cook until sausage is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F.
  • Once your sausage is cooked through, pour your egg whites into the skillet with the sausage. Stir well while cooking.
  • When your eggs are completely cooked, add in your salsa, then your garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Stir to incorporate the seasoning, and remove from heat.
  • Let this cool for a few minutes to make the burritos easier to handle.
  • While your filling is cooling, lay out your flatbreads.
  • Add 1/4 C of cheese to each flatbread, then divide your egg and sausage filling between your flatbreads.
  • Do not overstuff these or they will tear. Roll up your flatbread sand spray both sides with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle a little garlic powder on each side and place into the air fryer for 10-15 minutes on 375 °F.
  • Wrap each burrito with aluminum foil and store in the refrigerator or freezer.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

• You can reheat these in the air fryer or microwave. Be sure to remove them from the foil if reheating in the microwave.
• If storing for meal prep, place into freezer safe meal containers, and place in the freezer for freshness. Take the meal out of the freezer and place it in the refrigerator the night before to let the meal thaw out.
